Admission Eligibility and Selection Criteria
- Basic Academic Qualification: Sixteen years of education or a BS degree in CS/SE/IT/DS/AI/Cyber security/CE/EE/TE/IS or in relevant discipline (4-year programme with a minimum of 120 credit hours) after HSSC/F.A./F.Sc./Grade 12 or an equivalent qualification, with at least 50% marks or a minimum CGPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale, shall be required for admission to the MSIT programme.
- Admission Test and Interview: GRE/GAT/HAT-General or University Admission Test, with a minimum cumulative score of 50%, is required for admission to the MSIT programme. The GAT test score is valid for a period of two years. Additionally, candidates must achieve at least 50% marks in the interview.
- Interdisciplinary Qualification: The university may recommend 3-9 CH deficiency courses of level 6 courses, after considering the educational background and knowledge of the candidate. Deficiency courses shall be determined by the Admission Committee, before admitting the student.
