On 20 Jan 2023, an MoU was signed between Lahore Garrison University and Pakistan Navy War College. The Department of International Relations and Political Science was the signatory department. Maj Gen Shahzad Sikander, HI(M), (Retd), Vice Chancellor LGU assured Rear Admiral Javed Iqbal, HI(M) Commandant Pakistan Navy War College of broader cooperation and support.
